Solid Soul Southern Region

Welcome to the website of the Southern Region of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The states of Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri make up what is known as the Solid Soul Southern Region.

In 1942, the Eleven Founders organized and established Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to address the economic, education and social disparities in their communities.

The Southern Region was established June 28, 1958, with the charter of Epsilon Chapter, Dallas, Texas.

Eta Phi Beta Sorority would assist young girls in acquiring an education and support the growth and success of Black Businesses. The goal was to improve the quality of life for members of the Black Community. All chapters in the Southern Region have continued to fill the aims of the Founders.

We focus on programs that improve the quality of life for the intellectually and developmentally disabled, women and college bound students.
